bio:

Katie Kotler is a New York–based artist working across animation, textile, and installation. Her work translates digital imagery into hand-sewn and screenprinted objects, bringing moving images into physical space. Combining projection with soft sculpture, Kotler creates environments where animation takes on sculptural form. Her work has been exhibited internationally and throughout North America, with recent exhibitions at Gloria’s, Tiger Strikes Asteroid, and Ortega y Gasset Projects in New York.
