At Home: Colombia is a group exhibition co-curated by Jaysa Jordan and Jillian Lerner that considers home not simply as a physical place, but as memory, inheritance, language, ritual, and an evolving sense of belonging. Bringing together work by Colombian artists and artists from the Colombian diaspora alongside artists of other backgrounds, the exhibition explores how home is carried, reconstructed, remembered, and reimagined across distance.
The works consider home through personal memory, family histories, everyday rituals, and cultural traditions, while also examining how belonging shifts across generations, geographies, and experiences of migration. Together, they present home as a source of comfort, identity, joy, tension, and transformation. Rooted in Colombian and diaspora perspectives, with particular attention to voices from Buenaventura and the Pacific, the exhibition approaches home not as something fixed or singular, but as something continually shaped by people, place, and experience.
The exhibition extends beyond representation into direct community support. Admission is donation-based, with 100% of admission donations going directly to a grassroots team providing relief and helping families rebuild their homes in underserved communities throughout Buenaventura following the recent earthquake.
About the Gallery
Founded in 2018, All Street Gallery is a gallery and platform for emerging and underrepresented artists whose work focuses on social engagement and community empowerment. Initially created as an artist collective and grassroots protest organization, All Street is driven by its roots in the city’s creative community. The gallery’s mission is to use art as a means of protest, resistance, and social change, highlighting voices that challenge the status quo. After opening its first location on East Third Street in the East Village, All Street expanded in 2023 with a second space at 119 Hester Street. Both locations continue to provide a platform for artists whose work addresses important social and political issues.
